Dr Marwan will be speaking at the British Association of Sport & Exercise Medicine (BASEM) Annual Conference 2025, taking place on 18–19 November at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds.
He will be presenting on the emerging role of ultrasound in hamstring injuries, exploring how advances in imaging are changing the way clinicians assess, manage, and monitor recovery from these common but often complex injuries.
In addition to his talk, Dr Marwan will also be leading a hands-on hamstring ultrasound workshop, giving delegates the opportunity to develop their practical scanning skills and learn how to integrate ultrasound into real‑world clinical practice.
The BASEM Annual Conference brings together sports medicine doctors, physiotherapists, researchers, and allied health professionals from across the UK and beyond, making it a fantastic platform to share new ideas, learn from colleagues, and advance the field.
